Seeks to replace Megatron as Leader. Ruthless, cold-blooded, cruel…considers himself the most sophisticated and handsome of the Decepticones. Believes Decepticons should rely more on guile and speed rather than brute force to defeat the Autobots. Fastest flyer of the group, can reach Mach 2.8 and an altitude of 52 miles. Shoots cluster bombs and null-rays which desrupts flow of electricity. Very good at what he does, but sometimes overrates himself.

More Information

Starscream is another fan favourite due to his frequent (and sometimes just plain funny) attempts to overthrow Megatron in the G1 cartoon. His character has been reused many times in newer incarnations of the Transformers cartoons including Transformers Armada, Transformers Cybertron, Transformers Animated and the Live Action Movies. Each displaying his complete obession for control of the Decepticons. Even making a special appearance in Beast Wars posessing the body of Waspinator. Second in charge (in most continuities), he is surpisingly trusted by Megatron to take on important missions and carry valuable items despite his treachery.

G1 Starscream Figure

How far the’ve come since the very first Starscream figure. This toy is a not so difficult to find if you are willing to purchase a re-issue or encore version of it, which Amazon stocks here.

An original G1 release is still available and ebay is usually the best source for these figures, some very well kept (and expensive) originals still in the original box, fully preserved. But unless you’re that much of a hardcore collector, the encore version is probably the next best choice. If not G1, I’d get my hands onto a Masterpiece Starscream (below).

Masterpiece Starscream Figure

The very first Masterpiece toy released, Masterpiece Starscream, based off the original G1 design, started it all. With all the little extras like 2 different inter-changeable faces, an openable cockpit with Dr Arkeville (Transformers G1 Cartoon) to seat inside, movable jets and excellent articulation. The transformation of this figure is a little complex but in either Alt or Robot mode looks just excellent, perfect for display.
